Pastoral Council
A pastoral council is established in the parish to assist the pastor and the parish staff in the governance and the pastoral ministry of the parish. At St. Michael’s, the ten members of the pastoral council are nominated by the parish and formally appointed by the pastor. Members serve for three-year terms. Members are listed here.

Finance Council
A finance council is established in the parish to assist the pastor and parish staff in the administration of parochial goods. The finance council of a parish is composed of a group of parishioners endowed with a special competence in financial matters and/or professional knowledge of maintenance and construction to assist in the development and management of the parish’s financial resources and assets. At St. John’s, the five members are directly appointed by the pastor and serve for three-year terms. Current members are listed here.

Maintenance Committee
The Maintenance Committee assists the pastor in the responsible stewardship of parish buildings, grounds, and equipment. Working in an advisory capacity, the committee helps identify maintenance needs, prioritize repairs and improvements, and plan for the long-term care of parish facilities. By offering their expertise and oversight, committee members help ensure that our church remains a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained place for worship, ministry, and community life. Those with experience or interest in construction, maintenance, landscaping, engineering, or related fields are especially encouraged to become involved.
